Celebration of 50th Anniversary of African Union
There were several events to mark the 50th Anniversary of the African Union:
Embassy of the Republic of South Sudan Diplomatic staff with H.E. Sitona Abdalla Osman took part in the organization and attended the Conference: “African Development Perspectives” organized by the Group of African Ambassadors on the occasion of the 50th Anniversary of the African Union. The Keynote Speaker at the Conference was Dr Kandeh Yumkella, UNIDO Director General on 21 May 2013.
H.E. Sitona Abdalla Osman attended the African Rhapsody Dinner on invitation of the Afrika Verein (German-African Business Association) in honour of the 50th Anniversary of the African Union.
H.E. Sitona Abdalla Osman attended a Reception at the invitation of H.E: Joachim Gauck, President of the Federal Republic of Germany, in cooperation with the newly founded African Network Germany. The Reception was held on 24th May 2013 in honour of the launching of the African Network Germany and is a further step that the current German government is undertaking to promote the integration and cooperation with Africans in the Federal Republic of Germany
H.E. Sitona Abdalla Osman attended the Reception held by Group of African Ambassadors on the Occasion of the 50th Celebration of the African Union and also attended the other events
