The 2014 African Ambassadors Dialogue with Business is a Platform to Promote Potential Investment Opportunities in South Sudan
On 13th February 2014 the Embassy participated in the 2014 African Ambassadors Dialogue With Business held at the German Economy House (Haus Der Deuschen Wirtschaft ) in Berlin. The event was attended by H. E. Ambassador Sitona Abdalla Osman, the Deputy Head of the Mission, Ambassador Santino Fardol Watod Dicken and First Secretary Achwil Biong, Economic Desk Officer at the Embassy. The “2014 African Ambassadors Dialogue with Business” is a platform to offer business partners a unique opportunity to personally engage with several African Ambassadors accredited to the Federal Republic of Germany and their Economic Counsellors.
Participation of the Embassy of the Republic of South Sudan in such events is a very important opportunity to promote South Sudan investment opportunities because the country is rich in natural resources. South Sudan climatic conditions make South Sudan an ideal location for agriculture and agro-business, and large forested areas offer opportunities in the timber and paper industries. Our great natural resource of rivers offers unlimited power generation opportunities, as well as water transport possibilities.
