The upcoming South Sudan Investment Conference (SSIC) 4th-5th December,2013

ssicThe Government of the Republic of South Sudan under the auspices of South Sudan Investment Authority (SSIA), in collaboration with development partners will organize the first South Sudan Investment Conference (SSIC), in line with broad –based goals to promote sustainable economic growth and development in the country, scheduled to take place in the period from 4th to 5th December, 2013 in Juba.

Juba Youth Film Show

Juba Youth Film Show

H.E. Sitona Abdalla attended on 15 May 2013 the premiere of the Juba Youth Film followed by a Reception. The films were produced in cooperation with Weltfilme e.V. and comprises of 5 films that were all filmed in Juba. Weltfilme is a non-profit organization that works in cooperation with the Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development and other organizations and their target is to bring about change using media- in this case with film projects made with and by the youths in Juba. H.E. Sitona Abdalla Osman was also a Speaker on the Discussion Panel that followed the premiere of the film. The event was well attended by members of the Diplomatic Corps and other high ranking members of the government and private sector and served as an excellent platform to promote Republic of South Sudan as a whole and the youths in particular.
