Public are informed that the Embassy of the Republic of South Sudan will be closed on 23rd December 2015 up to 3rd January 2016. All Diplomatic Staff and Local Staff are expected to resume their normal duties on 4th January 2016.

PUBLIC HOLIDAY

The Embassy of the Republic of South Sudan to the Federal Republic of Germany hereby informs that the 23rd September 2015 is the public Muslim Holiday for Eid el Adha in the Republic of South Sudan. None Muslims will join their Muslim friends and relatives for two days of holiday the 24th and 25th September. Therefore, the Embassy will remain closed during Eid el Adha Holiday and will resume its normal duties on Monday 28th September 2015 .

The Day of Open Door (Tag der offenen Tür) organized by the German Federal Government on the 30th August 2015

BMZOn 30th August 2015, the German Federal Government organized a day of open door attended by around 156,000 visitors from different countries.

In his speech the Federal Government spokesman Mr. Steffen Seibert affirmed that the Day of Open Door is a good opportunity for the federal government to present what it does and at the same time to get into a conversation with the citizens.
